Hi there! My name is Chris. I design t-shirts and other goodies for board gamers and geeks of many stripes.
Geeky Goodies is my passion and my creative outlet. During the day I am a graphic designer. My wife and I have been helping small and medium sized businesses communicate their messages and grow for over 15 years now. You can find out more about us at ideascompany.ca. I'm a dog owner. Well, more accurately: My dog owns me. I love my dog Zuzu La Rue more than is probably healthy for a human being to love their pet. She is the best decision my wife and I have made together. Since she has joined our life, there hasn’t been a single day when she hasn’t made us laugh over and over again, or enriched our life immeasurably. Science, Fiction and More, Oh Boy! I am a fan boy. I am sci-fi book and movie fan. I like Doctor Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly & Serenity, The Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings, and I’m a recovering comic book fan from my youth (although I no longer collect or read them), and more, and more, and more. That list can keep going for a very long time. A Board Game Geek But my first love (after my wife and my dog) is board games. I’ve been on BoardGameGeek.com and recording my game plays since 2009 (that’s right I make a note of every game I play – well, most of them), after a friend introduced us to The Downfall of Pompeii, Ticket To Ride and Battlestar Galactica. The shelves in my office and the wallet in my pocket haven’t forgiven me since then. As I write this I’ve played almost 1,500 games with friends and family. We get together regularly with friends to game and catch up. I love what board gaming provides to me:

This my Geeky Goodies Blog and my first blog post. I hope to use this place to post information and maybe contests that might be useful or interesting to board gamers and other geeks. I will be posting about the different fandoms that I’m passionate about and the creative projects that I’m working on. And of course, I will also be posting about the shirts and other goodies that I design and sell on my online store.
